67. St. Bernards
A residential project with raised planters and integrated seating
67. St. Bernards, Edinburgh Residential Apartments
67. St. Bernards is a standout development located in the desirable Canonmills area of Edinburgh. The project, led by Kelvin Properties, has transformed a former warehouse into 36 modern and contemporary apartments.
For the communal areas, landscape architects OOBE specified WoodBlocX as an alternative to the originally planned metal planters. Our modular system was selected not only for its aesthetic appeal but also for the speed of installation and the practicality of transporting materials to site, both of which played a key role in the decision-making process.

Raised planters with integrated seating
When planning the south-facing communal area of the development, the priority was to create an inviting space where residents can relax and fully enjoy the outdoors.
WoodBlocX provided a tailored solution of raised planters with integrated seating, offering both functionality and comfort. The flexibility of the system made it possible to work within the footprint of the existing design, ensuring the new features fitted seamlessly into the space.

Enhancing outdoor spaces sustainably
Quality is at the heart of every WoodBlocX project. From planting and harvesting the timber through to cutting and finishing each component, we manage the entire process to ensure consistency and durability. Specifiers can also be assured that our supply chain is both sustainable and dependable.
