Transforming a school outdoor playground
Woodlands Academy in Lincolnshire set out to transform their playground into a vibrant and engaging outdoor space where pupils could both learn and play.
From start to finish, the children were hands-on with the project, building raised planters and benches for their school grounds. WoodBlocX proved to be the perfect fit for schools, encouraging teamwork and practical skills while giving pupils the chance to create something they could enjoy.
Raised planters and benches
The key objective for the project was to provide an outdoor space for the pupils to learn and enjoy the outdoors. The project features L-shaped planter benches, rectangular and circular raised planters. Each WoodBlocX product is made from sustainably sourced FSC wood with guaranteed durability. The innovative modular timber system provides the flexibility needed to meet the needs of the client.
As WoodBlocX is quick and easy to install, the pupils from the school for involved in the whole process, from looking at instructions to completing the build and planting the plants and shrubs.
