Raised Planters for Public Parks & Gardens

Creating unique spaces for public and private spaces

Create spaces for people to enjoy

Raised planters were the original product that began WoodBlocX Landscaping following a large-scale roof-top installation in the regeneration of the Stratford area of London ahead of the 2012 Olympic Games. These were specified through our successful retail business.

Since then, we have supplied raised planters for public parks and gardens, town and city centres, hotels, theme parks, hospitals, and sensory and roof gardens. More recently, we have adapted our designs to meet the increasing demand for Moveable Planters.

Unique design and composition

WoodBlocX planters are regarded as one of the best solutions for growing plants and edibles. The unique modular design, pre-treated and pre-drilled timber, and strong dowels, combined with supportive inner buttresses prevent cracking, warping and movement.

The treatment process we use is suitable for organic growing which makes our planters a sustainable option for those growing edibles.

The flexibility that our timber system provides in terms of design, combined with our Free Design Service makes WoodBlocX an attractive option for all types of garden.

Places for people and plants

We have all been told about the power of nature and how incorporating it into our everyday lives can improve our wellbeing. We are proud to play a part in creating places for people that are filled with plants.

We have supplied our raised planters to public parks, spaces within cities for workers to take a break and enjoy a small slice of nature amongst the concrete, community gardens within new build developments which are designed to bring residents together and spaces dedicated to growing food such as hotel kitchen gardens to serve their restaurants.

“WoodBlocX were the perfect solution when we upgraded the beds in our kitchen garden. The system allows us to grow a wide range of salads, fruit and vegetables in robust, low-maintenance sections that also look great for guests and visitors.”
